The Maru Round Table started with a reflection on how to produce an affordable table with a unique design that can be easily assembled. Top & legs are made in a panel of birch plywood and no glue is necessary in its assembly as parts fit together one inside the other. The design has been studied in order to have a compact and lightweight table where at least 6 people can comfortably sit together; therefore legs are curved to avoid blocking the chairs.
