The Hugg Buffet was originally designed for a prestigious car brand’s concept store, the way the doors open is a reference to 80’s car door systems as it has been used for the DeLorean. There is a contrast between the inside and the outside, when it is closed the buffet seems very massive, once open it becomes lighter as we discover the structure and the shelves. Materials are oak for the top, lacquered MDF for the body and doors and lacquered steel for the base.
